The TNTE XM177/GAU-5 Flash Hider & Grenade Ring is reproduction piece for your Retro carbine build. This flash hider has wrench flats, as well as flash hider cuts and grenade ring. The XM177 Flash Hider fits 1/2-28 threads are machined from 4140 heat treated steel and has a nitride finish. Flash Hider overall length is 5.5". This flash hider has a straight bore. The rear is chamfered to align a crush washer or shims (not included). Weighs 8.8 oz.
The shortest length barrel you can use with these and be legal for OAL is 11.3". Anything shorter after pin and weld will be an SBR. To correctly measure OAL you must insert a rod down the bore until it makes contact with the bolt face. DOES NOT INCLUDE A CRUSH WASHER.

XM-177 Gau flash hider
I recently NFA papered a AR15 pistol, so i was able to install a M4 adjustable stock. Also by installing the XM-177 flash hider, i noticed a quieter weapon, smaller fire ball, and a better balanced weapon.

5.5” Flash hider
Well made. Added to my 11.5” barrel to make it compliant with my brace. I had it pinned and welded. I now own a riffle.
